Beginning of the Instructional Day: 

Flatwoods Elementary begins instruction promptly at 8:00 every morning.  Our Protected Reading Block is from 8:00-10:00 during which teachers, students, and support personnel are engaged in reading instruction and practice throughout the entire school.  Please remember this when entering the school and make arrangements to speak with teachers and students at a time outside the Protected Reading Block.  You can check with your child's teacher for information about individual class schedules regarding lunch times, teachers' planning times, etc.  Thank you for your help!

Dismissal Schedule:

1st Bell - 2:45 (Red Load and Blue Load)

2nd Bell - 2:50 (Car Riders)

3rd Bell - 2:55 (Green Load)

4th Bell - 3:00 (Extended Day and Walkers)
